TWIST turns two! :)

This March marks TWIST's second birthday! Whew! I have nothing but joy right now for this personal achievement. Two years ago when I put this blog up, I wasn't even sure if it will even last for a year! Ha!

Over the past 12 months, TWIST managed to snag more than 145,000 views worldwide, more than doubling the 72,000 the blog got during its first year. The blog now has more than 217,000 views. In the same time frame, I was able to post 98 entries, which brings total posts to 290. Yey! :)

I know, I know. By this time I should have had a "real" address (a .com, if you may), and I have thought endlessly about this. But it's just that I can't seem to settle for an address that makes me happy. All the good ones that I like have been taken! Please send suggestions. :)

In the past year, the three most viewed entries (posted from March 2012 to March 2013) were the following: (1) Why my credit card application has been declined 5 times; (2) Big success brings back the Great Canadian Roadshow in Manila; and (3) Hidden Valley Springs: More photos, contact details, directions getting there.

The best thing that happened to this blog in the past year, I would say, is the fact that I have been invited many times as a blogger for TWIST, when before I would source material from being invited as a writer for the Philippine Daily Inquirer. This gives me the energy to keep doing what I'm doing.

When before I wasn't even sure if TWIST will be able to celebrate a first birthday, let alone two, I now am sure I'll be doing a similar post this time again next year for the blog's third birthday! So guys, keep TWIST-ing! :)
