This is a good thing for both property developers and homebuyers. For the former, it allows the opportunity to build high-rise establishments with relatively unobstructed view and wind-flow—which could raise the property’s value.
For the latter, it means coming home to a less congested address with a lower density of people living in the community.
Alabang’s relatively laid-back environs has made it ideal to put up a residential address that mesh together the benefits of living within a throbbing city and the relaxed atmosphere of suburban ease.
Emerging property developer Picar Development Inc. is one of the companies that is banking on the city’s location and charm to lure potential homebuyers to its very first property in Alabang—The Chelsea Residences.
“Unlike Makati, Alabang is relatively less harassed but is a very progressive city, nonetheless. Homeowners who choose The Chelsea Residences will surely be able to take full advantage of what the south has to offer,” said Danilo Jugno, Picar’s general manager, in a roundtable discussion with reporters.
Driven by a thrust that’s geared towards pioneering innovative and world-class real estate development projects, The Chelsea Residences is a 32-story mid-rise project (in a 1,400 sqm land) that is bound to change the city’s skyline when it is completed in 2016.
The 696 residential units, many of which have already been sold through pre-selling, brings to market P2.6 billion worth of residential inventory. The project is located in Buencamino Street near the Alabang-Zapote Road.
With a modern contemporary theme, The Chelsea Residences offers its future residents a view of either the Manila Bay or the Laguna de Bay. The property’s vibrant feel is perhaps brought about by the colors in which the buildings are painted in—orange, green, and a shade of gray.
As buildings become more “intelligent,” The Chelsea Residences wants to remain at the forefront of the game.
“Technology is part and parcel of this development,” said Jugno.
Aside from the building’s WiFi-enabled accessibility, the development will also feature advanced built-in features via the cutting-edge technology of CISCO Systems, which should offer convenience, safety and connectivity with ease to its future residents.
A service that gives residents the option to put location trackers for kids will also be available for residents to subscribe to.
Unit cuts at The Chelsea Residences include studio (24 to 48 sqm), one-bedroom (36 to 79 sqm), two-bedroom (56 to 65 sqm), two-bedroom penthouse and three-bedroom penthouse units (96 to 195 sqm).
The property’s strategic location gives its residents access to opportunities for reaping the benefits of living in a flourishing district. It doesn’t hurt that the site is near business, industrial, and commercial establishments.
While Picar, the property development arm of the AMA Group, is a relatively new player in the property development industry, this isn’t the company’s first high-rise project. Picar’s flagship project in Makati City, the Stratford Residences, is fast rising and will soon become the country’s tallest building once completed.
The Chelsea Residences is ideal for young professionals, as well as upstart families, who Jugno said, would benefit from living in a place that is at the front and center among the well-developed communities south of Manila.
