Rémy Martin partners with graphic artist Matt W. Moore for new line of limited VSOP bottles

Here's a nice little equation: Rémy Martin + Matt W. Moore = an exciting limited edition drink.

Infusing a bold and exciting energy into its VSOP universe, Rémy Martin has teamed up with visual artist Matt W. Moore and his stylish art, which has come to be known as Vectorfunk.

The result is a fresh and captivating packaging design, as well as a new graphical language for Rémy Martin, equally reflecting the brand’s rich heritage and forward-focused mindset.

This new visual narrative blends natural elements like grapes and leaves, as well as many of Rémy Martin’s cherished symbolisms, such as the the mythical centaur, in an invigorating array of colorful geometric patterns and semiotics.

Inspired by the Cognac environment, the collabo with Moore shows Rémy Martin’s direction to expand its vision as its range of products grow finer with age. The partnership is meant to give fresher perspective to a liquor brand that has been around for years, yet is willing to try exciting things to bring something new to the table.

Rémy Martin VSOP embodies the perfect harmony of powerful and elegant aromas. Extremely versatile, it is composed of eaux-de-vie which comes exclusively from the highest-quality vineyards of Cognac, the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.

Working with an artist of Moore’s caliber is in line with Rémy Martin’s thrust of supporting and nurturing outstanding talents.

From artists and winegrowers to the cellar masters who craft their world-class cognacs, this desire to supporting talented individuals is embedded in the brand’s DNA.

Art & Style Icons
To mark the launch of the Matt Moore Limited Edition VSOP bottles in the country, Rémy Martin recognized “Art & Style Icons”—the who’s who in their respective fields, established individuals who embody Rémy Martin’s love of the art.

The individuals who were recognized during the launch were Jason Soong, DJ and musician; Jess Wilson, a fashion model and entrepreneur; and Kalel Chan, a chef and foodie.

The three were awarded with a plaque, especially created for the event, and a Matt Moore VSOP Bottle.

ARt by Remy Martin
To further drum up interest in the new visual language, Rémy Martin launched the Augmented Reality Tour or ARt (available on iOS now), an imaginative new adventure of augmented reality where users become both the viewer and the artist.

It’s the world’s first brand activation that leverages ARKit technology through an art perspective. The app lets users redesign the environment and create their own unique vision of the world by playing with a vast pallet of 3D graphical elements inspired by Matt’s new visual universe.

In more ways than one, the collaboration between Rémy Martin and Matt Moore spells a new visual chapter in the centuries-old story of the iconic liquor brand.

The Matt Moore Limited Edition VSOP bottles are exclusively available at all S&R outlets.
