One of the things I always tell my friends whenever Washington DC comes up in the conversation is how I enjoyed visiting the numerous museums there for free. And they're not your average, boring, dated museums, too. On the contrary, all of the museums I visited are updated, entertaining, state-of-the-art collections--especially those that are run by the Smithsonian Institution.
Perhaps one of my favorites would be the National Air and Space Museum, which has galleries about history of aviation, evolution of airplanes and airports, man's journey to space and the technologically advanced aircraft ever assembled, and the most impressive telescopes used to observe elements beyond Earth, among many others.
If you ever find yourself in Washington DC, please consider visiting this museum. For now, enjoy these photos that I took. :)

Aren't you glad this isn't how our airports look like today? |
