The Strip in Las vegas |
Technically, the title of this post doesn't apply as I am not in Las Vegas anymore. As I write this, I am in the holding area of the YVR Airport in Vancouver, Canada--a stopover of my Philippine Airlines flight from Vegas to Manila. It's usually an hour stay here before we proceed with our flight.
Including the one hour stopover, the trip from Vegas to Manila totals almost 16 hours. Thankfully, the plane isn't full of passengers at all, and I have one side of the row to myself so I am able to perform some stretching exercises. Sitting still for 16 hours can take its toll on you, as anyone who'd flew a flight this long would know.
Anyhow, back to my Vegas experience. To those who have been reading my blog for a while, you'd know that it was quite of a whirlwind trip for me this time around. The vacation can simply be dissected like this: 3 weeks in Sin City; nearly 3 weeks in New York; three days in Washington DC; a day in New Jersey; and four more days in Las Vegas.
One of the more exciting things for me was the celebration of Halloween! Growing up, I never had the chance to go Trick-or-Treating so it was delight for me to be able to go with some cousins to collect candies. Fun!
I'd like to add more to this blog entry but, apparently, our flight is boarding again. The next entry I write would be posted from the Philippines. Oh, how I missed home! :)
