Pacquiao posters and billboards in the US

A billboard of the Pacquiao-Marquez fight in Times Square in New York City.
Boxing super fighter Manny Pacquiao has, without doubt, made a name for himself not only in the Philippines (and Mexico, where many of the foes he had defeated had come from), but also in the United States.

In a recent visit in Las Vegas and New York, I had the chance to photograph a couple of materials advertising Pacquiao's bout with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12, 2011.

Check out the photo above--a shot of a billboard in a Walgreens store, seen by hundreds of thousand of people in the busy street of Times Square in New York. Aside from that, I also got a shot of a poster of the fight in a bus stop in front of MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where the fight is to be held. Here it is:

Three years ago in December 2008, when I first got to Las Vegas, I also had the opportunity of snapping a shot of a billboard of then Pacquiao's fight with Oscar De la Hoya (which the Filipino superstar easily won, of course). Check it out:
