Seven months on: First long vacation since blog debut

The most read posts for the month of September :)
If you've been wondering why there aren't as many updates on the blog in recent days, it's because I'm on vacation. This is the first long out-of-the-country vacay that I had since putting up this blog seven months ago (seriously, 7 months already?!?!).

The most read posts of ALL TIME (since the blog went live last March) :D
The good thing is that I was still able to post 15 entries for the month of September, which brings the total entries to 133 (since March). The posts added another 3,373 hits to the total views of the blog since it went live last March. In that span of time, the blog has garnered 19,498 hits.

More than anything, it's this "monthly report" I look forward to doing every top of the month as it allows me to update you to what has been going on with the blog in the last 30 days.

For September, the top three most read entries (that were posted that same month) were the following: "5 things I like about the Miss Universe 2011 pageant"  which was read 227 times; followed by "PHOTOS: Miss World Philippines coronation night" which was read 64 times; and "To frisk or not to frisk?" that was read 42 times.

Overall, since TWIST: The Way I See Things went live last March, the post that has been read the most remain to be "How to sell a Swarovski-encrusted P15,000 footwear" which has now been read 992 times since it was posted in June. Runners-up include "17 never-before-seen photos from Mr Gay World 2011" (read 514 times since March); and "South Africa bags 'Mr Gay World' 2011 title" (read 428 times since March).

If you've been following my blog, you'd notice that I'm a sucker for statistics. Please bear with me as I bore you with some more.

Countries where hits came from the most for the month of September :D

Countries where views have come from the most
since the blog was put up in March :D
Out of the 3,370 views for September, 42% came from the Philippines; 15% came from the United States. The rest came from Indonesia (3%); Canada (3%); Malaysia (3%); and many other countries (please see photo above).

Overall, the percentage of visitors from the Philippines has continued to slide--from 68% in March; to 65% in April; to 63% in May; to 61% in June; 57% in July; 55% in August; and 52% in September. As you can see, that's the seventh straight month that has happened. I can only hope it's because the blog is gaining more support from outside the Philippines. That brings a smile to my face! :)

Like I said earlier, I am on vacation here in Las Vegas right now, so please expect many Vegas-centric blog entries in the next few weeks. I've already posted three entries that has something to do with my vacay just in case you're interested: "Waking up in Vegas"; "Waking up in Vegas (Part 2)"; and "Homecooked Pinoy food in Vegas". More to come! :D

*** Just in case you're wondering what this post is all about, every month, the first blog entry goes to my “monthly report” as to what happened in the last 30 days here at TWIST—which post was read the most; from which countries the thousands of views came from; and stuff of that nature.  :) ***
