WEEK THAT WAS (July 8 - 14): Temptation Island; Insurance; Google+

It's quite an eventful week for me--I worked hard but slept even harder (yeah!).  Without further ado, here goes my "Week that Was" entry for this week:

1. Temptation Island (the movies!)
          I had to watch the original film first before seeing the remake. Both times, I was pleasantly entertained. The one from the 80s was full of questionable hairstyle and fashion (from today's point of view, of course) but that added to the comic flair. The new film boasted an equally sexy cast which I enjoyed very much. The best thing is still the dialogue (Girl 1: "Bitch. Girl 2: "Double Bitch!")

2. Third life insurance policy
          Today (yes, after uploading this blog entry), I'll be heading to the Sunlife Financial office to submit an application for my third life insurance policy. If you've read my previous blog entries, you'd know I already have two existing policies. Well, you know, I gotta work for that goal of P100 million by retirement age. :)

3. Signed up for Google+
          I still am not sure how I'd benefit from Google+, but I asked a friend to invite me anyways. So far, I've completed my profile and has two friends in my circle. So please feel free to add me up at my Gmail address: kennethdelrosario@gmail.com. Thanks! :)

4. Missed events
          The past week I missed three important events--the Kylie Minogue concert at Araneta Coliseum; the Kobe Bryant event (also in Araneta Coliseum); and the annual stockholder's meeting for PhilEquity at Shangrila Makati. Oh, and yeah, I also missed the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf event the other day. Yikes!

5. Speed limit at SLEX
          From the moment I heard about the speed limit along the South Luzon Expressway (up to 100kph), I've already given it a thumbs down. The good thing (for me) is that I don't think it's being implemented properly (no surprise there). The other day, I was doing 100kph and several cars were still passing me by. I also don't see any radar or traffic officers. Ho-hum!
