Two months on: 48 entries; 4,900 views; 1 happy camper :)

If you read this post that went live a month ago, you'd know that I love statistics, including this blog's--how many viewers per day, week, month; how many percent of visitors came from this or that country; which post is garnering steam on this day or that; yada, yada, yada.

As I did at the start of April, I'll also sort of report the changes that has happened to this blog for the last 30 days. Can you believe it's already May? Wasn't it just yesterday I was playing Mariah Carey's "Auld Lang Syne" for New Year's Eve?

Anyhow, I'd like to give another BIG thank you to YOU who keep on coming back to this blog site I put up at the top of March.

During that first month (March to April), the blog received 1,327 hits. The following month (April to May), I'm glad to announce that the number of visitors almost tripled to 3,578. That gives the blog site 4,905 hits for two months.

Again, let me just say, for the record, that I humbly do not even think I have the right to compare that number to other more established blogsites of any sort because it takes years to build a credible name.I just seriously love dissecting these things. Sue me! :)

As for the posts, the one with the most hits for the month of April (posted within the month) was my post about the recent Binibining Pilipinas pageant ("Twitter laugh fest over Binibining Pilipinas 2011" ) hours after the actual event ended. My blog entry about my runway experience with Ms J and Nigel ("Sexiest, fiercest walk? You got it!") came second while my post about summer destinations in the country ("Top 10 fastest rising local travel destinations") came in third.

Some 65% of visitors came from the Philippines for the month of APRIL

Over all, however, the post with the most views since this blog went live last March is "Sand isn't just for castle making" (posted March 31) which consistently gets hits day per day. Last month's top draw "17 never before seen pictures from Mr Gay World 2011" is now the 9th most viewed overall.

As for where these blog visitors come from, it's no surprising that 65% come from the Philippines. But that number is down from 68% from last month, which suggests that more people from outside the country viewed the site. Fantastic! :)

According to the fabulous Blogspot analytics, I also got hits from countries like the United States with 14%. The rest came from Italy, Singapore, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia, among others.

Last March, I posted 23 entries. For the month of April, I had 25, which brings the total number of entries to 48 for the period of 2 months.. Hopefully, I'll be able to match that this month. :) 

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, please accept my THANK YOU for the support. At times it takes so much effort to maintain this site but it all becomes worth it with all the love I get back. :)
