Earlier this week, TWIST ran a contest that offered fans of Carly Rae Jepsen a chance to see her in concert tomorrow at the Araneta Coliseum. Today, we announce the winner.
Congratulations to Anne (@thechumchum) who tweeted all the blog entries here at TWIST with the hashtag #twistfreetix. Two other tweeters did the same thing which put them in a three-way tie. It was a raffle draw that gave Anne her good fortune. (Anne has been contacted about her win. A meeting time and date has been set for the claiming of the prize).
This is the first time that I launched this kind of contest here in my blog and I enjoyed it profusely. It was nice seeing dozens of people actually joining and aggressively vying for the win. It was nice giving the Carly Rae fans the chance to see her sing live.
However, the hard part was when I had to award the winner. While I was happy for Anne, it was heartbreaking to see the other participants expressing their sadness for not winning. Unfortunately, I only had two tickets to give away. So I can only wish them luck at this point.
