Earlier this year, PC and mobile device maker Acer invited several media representatives (including myself for the Philippine Daily Inquirer) to explore the beauty of Pearl Farm Beach Resort in Davao. The activity was a "thank you" gesture for media peeps who have supported the gadgets giant over the years.
Located in the islands of Samal & Malipano, Pearl Farm is a place of serenity and blissful moments. Before the trip, I have heard so many things about the destination so I had high expectations. Thankfully, Pearl Farm lived up to its hype.
From the city proper, it takes a 45-minute boat ride to reach the place so it's perfect for individuals, families, and friends who want time with only the majestic nature as welcome distraction.
