Why the Abaca Resort in Cebu is called 'that restaurant with rooms'

What do you do when you own a famous restaurant situated in a 5,000-sqm property? You put up rooms and transform it in a full-blown resort, of course!

This is exactly how Abaca Resort's story goes. When Abaca was put up some six years ago, it was envisioned only to be a dining establishment in Cebu where locals and tourists alike could find sumptuous Continental and Mediterranean cuisine.

But as the restaurant gained a solid reputation, guests started asking if they have rooms where they can stay. Not long after, Abaca owners had no choice but to give in to the numerous requests. Talk about expanding your business offerings.

Soon, people were referring to Abaca Resort as "that restaurant with rooms"--and rightly so. Today, both the spacious, warm rooms and the famed restaurant (headed by Chef Wade Watson) give guests the best time they could have this side of town.

The Abaca Resort is located at Punta Engano Road, Mactan Island, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu. Call +63324951378 for more info.
