Most viewed Mariah Carey videos on YouTube

Mariah is as visible over the Internet as her more contemporary peers

For a musician who has been around for over two decades, before there was YouTube or Facebook or Twitter, Mariah Carey has clearly kept up with the changing times. As a singer-songwriter, her fans continue to download her songs and albums.

Over at Youtube, the superdiva's official VEVO account has more than 3 million channel views and total uploads in excess of 415 million. Those stats makes her account the 35th most viewed (of all time) for musicians and the 85th most viewed account (of all time) in any category.

It's an amazing feat considering that most of Mariah's early hits were released in the '90s--way before YouTube was even invented. Many of her older hits has garnered millions of millions of views (as you'll see below) even though most of them have only been uploaded for over a year. Obviously, many of these songs are past their peak. Fortunately, many of them have become classics, which is why people continue to watch them nline.
