Three months on: new 'Press Releases' page; 66 entries; 7,000 views :)

The Top 10 most viewed posts for the month of May :)
It's the start of the month again, which means it's time for my "monthly report" (for lack of better term)--what's new with the blog; how the stats are doing; what to expect in the near future; and stuff of that nature.

First up is the addition of the new "Press Releases" page. Starting this June, you'll get to read about what's "in" and what's happening in the metro, without having to wait for newspapers or other media vehicles to publish them. Here in TWIST, we upload those information as soon as we receive them, direct from the companies themselves. You can check out the "Press Releases" page by clicking here.

Top 10 most viewed posts of ALL TIME :)
If you got to read my "monthly report" (I have got to think of a better term for this) for April and May, you'd know that I'm a sucker for statistics.

I'm happy to note that this blog has surpassed the 7,000 views mark in less than three months. Last May alone, the blog garnered 2,214 views, which brings total views to 7,242 since March 3 (when the blog site went live).

In May, it's surprising to note that the most viewed post is "Questionable restaurant policies", an entry that went live in the first week of April. But if we count only the entries that was uploaded during the month of May, the most viewed entry is "New Billabong Boardshorts is so light it feels like wearing nothing".

The top 3 most viewed posts of all time remain the same: "Sand isn't just for castle making" is at #1; "Twitter laugh fest over Binibining Pilipinas 2011" is at #2; and "Sexiest, fiercest walk? You got it!" at #3.

Top 10 countries where views for the month of May came from :)
As for where the 2,214 views for the month of May came from, it's no surprise that 52% came from the Philippines and 18% came from the United States. Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom is in a virtual tie for third place.

Top 10 countries where views for the last three
months (ALL TIME) came from :)
Overall (since March), the percentage of visitors from the Philippines continue to slide. From 68% of viewers last March and 65% last April, that number is down to 63% this May. This could only mean that the blog is starting to strengthen its international visitors. Fabulous!

Due to a busy schedule and some technical difficulties last May, I was able to upload only 18 entries (down from 25 entries last May). However, for the last three months, 66 entries went live, which is a very healthy number. This June, I promise to upload more articles.

Again, thanks so much for the continued patronage! God bless always! :D
