Oxygen brings youthful, edgy, wearable glamour at Fashion Week

Oxygen delivered an edgy, cutting-edge, youthful show recently at the just concluded Philippine Fashion Week. Living up to its brand persona, the clothes looked very comfy, hip, and fashion-forward. Most importantly, the collection is very wearable outside the runway, which is a big plus in my books.

After watching the ForMe collection, which featured an all-girls model line-up, it was refreshing to finally see some male models strut their stuff in the runway. And strut their stuff, they did.

The male models sported outfits that looked very versatile--ones you can wear in a formal event, yet wouldn't look out of place in a more casual setting. Again, that's a huge check for me.

The collection mostly came in dark shades--black, gray, brown, so they gave out an air of sophistication and class. Because Oxygen offers clothes that have price tags much lower than that of Zara's, on average, I really hope they make these clothes available for the public in a more friendly price.

All in all, a very satisfactory collection. I give it 7.5 out of 10 stars. I'm most definitely looking forward to next season's set. :)
