A fierce first time for ForMe at the Philippine Fashion Week

Charlene worked the runway like the pro that she is. For a beauty queen, her walk was as fierce as can be.
For the first time ever, stylish lifestyle brand for women ForMe joins the prestigious Philippine Fashion Week. Its opening salvo was a statement of what its growing legions of supporters already know--that ForMe has arrived and it ain't going nowhere, baby, except your shopping bags.

Last May 12, ForMe brand endorser and ambassador Charlene Gonzalez opened a spectacular show that featured Jackie-O inspired ensembles; cute mini-black dresses; chic and trendy accessories; and sky high nude shoes, among many others.

Glomour girls! With all these beautiful clothes, you can't go wrong with ForMe.
"I like it that the clothes seems like they would look flattering on women, whatever body shape they have and that's a big plus," said Sheryl Songsong, editor of luxury magazine, SPACE. "I think I could wear a couple or two straight from that runway show."

The runway resembled a rectangle with two doors (where the models come out) at either side, which makes for great choreography. The show also got a lot of help from lighting, which enhanced the mood of the event.

The featured clothes did look cool and comfy; nothing that Lady Gaga would wear anytime soon.
As expected, Gonzalez got the loudest applause from the audience--and rightly so. She came out fierce, clad in a light brown jumpsuit, accentuated by a printed belt, and necklace. For a beauty queen, Gonzalez made for a very good runway model.

Personally, Songsong and I liked Gonzales' second outfit (pictured above). It was a simple black ensemble that ballooned to an elegant finish at the bottom, allowing Gonzalez some freedom to play with the skirt. She worked that runway like the pro that she is.

Models interacted with each other throughout the show. [No, that's not Jinky Pacquiao]
"I'm happy to see development, in terms of style compared to their previous collections," said Songsong. "This time around, their designs are more stylish and geared toward reinventing classics that anyone can wear comfortably."

I couldn't agree more. If I was a girl, I just might wear some of those, too. But I'm not, so boo! :)
